Job Description:
A pathologists' assistant is a certified allied health professional who works under the supervision of a licensed pathologist. They perform gross (macroscopic) examinations of surgical tissue specimens, dissect organs, assist with autopsies, and prepare tissue samples for microscopic analysis, though they do not make final medical diagnoses.
