Description

Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level III NICU RN) – Night Shift

Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 18:45 – 07:15 | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
- Schedule Structure: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15).
- Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend (EOW) required.
- Holiday Coverage: Rotates into permanent staff schedule; candidate must expect to work holidays as assigned.

Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]:
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated NICU nursing experience strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Hands-on clinical experience in a Level III or higher NICU setting strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Must be proficient in mechanical ventilation care, strip interpretation, and critical drip titration [HARDSTOP].
State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active California RN License strictly required in-hand at time of submission [HARDSTOP].
Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Active NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification strictly required [HARDSTOP].

Facility Policy Compliance [HARDSTOP]: Cancellation Policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment without penalty.
