Dietitian (RD/RDN) – Skilled Nursing

Kansas City, MO

Start Date: November 30, 2026
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | 3x8 Hours | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: 24 Hours/Week

Charting: Epic

Scrubs: Eggplant

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
Active RD/RDN credential required
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience required
Experience with geriatric nutrition
Missouri and Kansas licenses or a compact license must be in hand at submission due to potential floating requirements
Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions only
COVID-19 vaccination not required

Preferred Skills:

Nutrition assessments and reassessments
Enteral nutrition and therapeutic diet management
Fluid/electrolyte balance and nutritional deficiencies
Dysphagia and aspiration safety
TPN, calorie counts, and food-drug interactions
Chronic wound care nutrition and failure-to-thrive management
Nutrition-focused physical exams (NFPE)
Alzheimer’s disease and appetite management
