URGENT: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)

Location: 150 Broad Street, Hamilton, NY 13346
Department: Med-Surg
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: November 23, 2026
End Date: February 20, 2027
Shift: Day Shift – 3 Consecutive 12-Hour Shifts
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Local Radius: 75 Miles

Job Description

We are urgently seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders in the Medical-Surgical department.

Responsibilities

Interview and examine patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately in patient charts.
Administer respiratory treatments, including chest physiotherapy and aerosol treatments.
Provide quality respiratory care while following established clinical protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications

CRT and RRT credentials/licenses as applicable.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
Successful completion of a certification examination.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
