Registered Nurse- Critical Care Float

Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
ICU Float / CV ICU – Job Details

Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience; 1 year CVICU experience mentioned.
Role: Float between multiple ICUs and inpatient floors.
Units: Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac/Heart & Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID.
Patient Ratio: ICU 2:1; inpatient floors maximum 1:3.
Schedule: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks, plus holiday rotation.
Required Certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, NIH.
Required Skills: Ventilator management, IV starts, Telemetry, Conscious Sedation.
Preferred Skills: CRRT, vasoactive drips, Swan/hemodynamics, IABP, Impella, ECMO.
EMR: Previous EPIC experience strongly preferred.
Traveler Requirement: First-time travelers not accepted.
Additional Duties: May float to regular floors or work as a patient sitter when needed.
