Shifts rotate:

t5x8 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm CST or Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm CST

This is a rotating schedule between techs. The schedule is made a month in advance. 

Required to have R. EEF T or CLTM and BLS

No holiday, overtime, on-call, or weekends.

Skills: For EEG this would include but not limited to performing routine and ambulatory electroencephalogram (EEG) studies in the outpatient setting, as well as routine and prolonged EEG studies for inpatients. This role requires demonstrated competency in neurodiagnostic procedures, including accurate electrode application utilizing the international 10 20 system, as well as proper electrode maintenance and removal

Education: High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited institution for neurodiagnostic technology or 2 years relevant neurodiagnostic technology experience in the lab of hire. Associate s degree preferred. Computer skills required.Within two years of employment or three years of employment if hired in the EEG or TMS work units, specific certification through ABRET - Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or AAET - The Nerve Conduction Association (R.NCS.T.) is required in the laboratory of hire. If hired in EEG or TMS with intent of pursuing R. EGG T. certification, employees must obtain R. EEG T. certification within three years of employment if the employee does not have an associate degree. Preferred certification for each area:For Autonomic positions: CAPFor EEG positions: R.EEG T. or CLTMFor EMG positions: R. NCS. T, R.EP T., or CNCTFor TMS positions: One of R. EEG T., CLTM, R. CNIM, R.NCS.T, or R.EP T. The Registry Examination should be attempted as soon as the employee is eligible. Must have current certification in Basic Life Support. Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.
