 START ASAP DURATION: 13 Weeks

SHIFT: Nights 7P-7:30A every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, no on-call requirements

FLOATING REQUIRED: No

BLOCKED SCHEDULING: Yes, is an option

REQUIREMENTS: RN IN licensure BLS, ACLS

3 years’ experience preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS: IV starts nursing assessments, telemetry, etc.

PREFERRED SKILLS: ICU drips

EMR: Cerner preferred

SCOPE OF ROLE: Medical Surgical RN Nights - Acute Care with Telemetry, progressive care, and swing

FACILITY SIZE: 40 licensed beds with 10 swing beds included in license

NUMBER OF BEDS IN UNIT: 20

MONTHLY DEPARTMENT VOLUME: average daily census of 10

PATIENT RATIO: 1 to 6 for acute, 1 to 10 for swing (ratio is typically 1:6, combining acute and swing beds - rehab patients. We have PCTs on the floor and House Supervisors for support.)
