Description
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Columbus, GA
Duration: 12 weeks
Shift: Days, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience; first-time travelers accepted.
- Community hospital experience required.
- NMTCB and/or ARRT (NM) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with PET scans, bone scans, HIDA scans, myocardial perfusion SPECT, thyroid, renal, and other nuclear medicine procedures.
- IV insertion and maintenance skills required.
- PACS, Epic, and Pyxis experience required; EKG experience preferred.
- Call required 1–2 days per week and every fourth weekend.
- Floating may be required to Piedmont Columbus Regional Northside for STAT inpatient cases.
- Must be comfortable working with pediatric through geriatric patients.
