Description
OR - Surgical Technician – Days
Start Dates: 11/05
Orientation Dates: 11/05
- 8-week contract
- 36 hours
- Shift: Days, 3 x 12's
- Weekends and Holidays
- Must be able to work every other weekend
- Patient ratios (if known): within CA guidelines
- Is RTO Accepted? What is the Max: None preferred
- On Call Requirement? NO
- Certs: Active Surgical Technician certification, AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)
- Must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date.
Experience:
- One (1) year of recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population in an operating room setting and have successfully completed formal training in the perioperative environment.
- Experience with the preparation of instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures
- Must be vigil for maintenance of the sterile field and set up delivery tables
- Local providers accepted
- COVID Vaccine Requirement: Covid vaccination + booster if eligible is a must
