Required Skills

• Emergency Department nursing experience (minimum 1 year)
• Strong triage and rapid assessment skills
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care accurately
• Comfort assisting with/performing ED procedures such as:
  • Cardioversion
  • Thrombolytic administration (e.g., TNK, if applicable per protocol)
  • Moderate sedation support
• Proficiency with electronic documentation (experience with Meditech is strongly preferred; see “Nice to Have”)

Nice to Have Skills

• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
• Prior travel contract experience
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Experience in units with variable staffing based on patient volume

Preferred Education and Experience

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for the assignment state
• Recent acute care experience (ED-focused experience preferred)

Other Requirements

• Schedule: nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Hours: typically 36 hours/week (facility may consider 48 hours with approval)
• Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per schedule cycle
• On-call: none
• Certifications:
  • BLS required
  • Advanced certification requirements apply for ED roles (e.g., ACLS/TNCC and additional ED-focused certifications may be required)
  • CPI card is required at time of submission for certain ED roles
