Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years; preferably 2–5+ years of relevant hospital experience.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• License/Certification: ARRT required.
• BLS: American Heart Association (AHA) only.
• Required Experience: OR, GI, and patient care skills.
• Patient Population: Inpatient, OR, ED, and outpatient.
• Flu Vaccine: Required November 1–April 1. Mercy-approved exemptions accepted; declinations are not accepted.
• Orientation: Night/evening shift staff orient on day shift. Must be available for the entire orientation week.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists and physicians with interventional and special procedures.
• Perform myelography, hysterosalpingography, arthrography, and other special procedures.
• Assist with GI procedures.
• Perform general X-ray examinations using portable equipment, fluoroscopy rooms, and general X-ray equipment.
• Perform surgical imaging procedures using C-arms and O-arms.
• Provide appropriate patient care during examinations and procedures.
• Work independently and collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Participate in OR call as required.
