Description
Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Locations: Carbondale, IL 62901
Duration: 13 Weeks + Extension
Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Four 10-hour days)
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray imaging and scrubbing during Cath Lab procedures.
- Assist with the following procedures:
- Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
- Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
- Cardiac device procedures
- Peripheral vascular procedures
- Carotid procedures
Shift and On-Call Requirements
- Four 10-hour shifts per week.
- One weekday of on-call duty per week.
- One weekend of on-call duty every four weeks on a rotating schedule.
- Holiday coverage may be required.
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- IEMA license/certification required for the state of Illinois.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred.
- Experience with Cath Lab imaging and scrubbing procedures preferred.
