Description

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Position: Ultrasound Technologist / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
Minimum 1 year of sonography experience – Required.
Must have graduated from an accredited or recognized school of sonography and completed the required clinical hours.
Must be competent in performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
Experience assisting radiologists with ultrasound-guided interventional procedures is expected.
Abdominal ultrasound experience is preferred.
EMR: Epic.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform diagnostic sonograms for radiologist interpretation.
Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations.
Assist radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures.
Provide appropriate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Maintain accurate examination documentation.
Follow departmental safety and quality standards.

SCHEDULE

Shift: Evenings.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5 × 8-hour shifts.
Hours: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM.
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

At least one applicable ARDMS registry – Mandatory.
ARDMS Abdomen (AB) – Preferred.
