Description

Travel Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) – Sitka, AK

Assignment Details

Location: Sitka, AK
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: December 7, 2026
Schedule: Varied shifts (primarily nights with some day shifts as needed)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Administer respiratory treatments, manage mechanical ventilators, perform airway management, extubations, and ventilatory life support.
Perform and assist with pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas analysis.
Educate patients on respiratory therapies and equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment while ensuring quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required at the time of submission
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
Current BLS certification
NRP certification required
Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Flu vaccination required
