·       Number of Beds - 317

·       Number of Staff - 27

·       Shift for the Traveler – 1830-0630

·       Type of staff:

o   Day Shift –  4-5 Respiratory Therapist

o   Night Shift – 3 Respiratory Therapist

·       Patient Ratios – No set ratios

·       Type of equipment – Ventilators, Bipap, CPAP

·       EMR - EPIC

·       On Call Requirements- None

·       Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per schedule ( 4 weeks)

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·       ACLS, BLS, PALS

·        

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·       NRP

·       NICU trained, for example, attending deliveries, intubation, ventilator management

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·         Ventilator and non-invasive ventilator patient monitoring

·        Breathing Treatments, arterial blood gas collection,

Best personality Fit:

·        Works well with others. Teachable and hard working

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·       Registered respiratory therapist

Floating Area(s):

·       ICU, PCU, ED, Medical floors. NICU if possible

Dress Code:

·       Scrub Color/Attire -  Pewter scrub color

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

·       Three twelve hour shifts per week.
