MICU RN (Medical ICU) - Travel Assignment Summary
- Unit: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Schedule: 3x12s, 36 hours/week
- Shift Rotation: 4 weeks Days / 4 weeks Nights (rotating)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1-2
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Strong EPIC charting experience preferred
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
- AHA certifications only
Required Skills
- IV Starts
- Telemetry Monitoring
- Ventilator Management
- EPIC charting experience (required)
Required Clinical Experience
- Multisystem Organ Failure
- Respiratory Failure
- COVID Patients
- Sepsis
- Post-Cardiac Arrest
- DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis)
- Liver Failure
- Renal Failure
Special Procedures/Unit Details
- Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) for hyperglycemia
