ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Onsite EKG Competency, Relias EKG test prior to start

**Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required**
**Must be able to float to Med-Surg and other Tele units**

**NO BACKGROUND AND LICENSE HITS ACCEPTED**
**EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
**MUST HAVE VENT EXP**

Accepts 1st time travelers!

Unit Details:
Avg Census: 36
Rooms/Beds 36
Ratios - 1:4
Every other weekend coverage required
No Call requirement
Scrubs: Royal Blue

Patient Population:
Adolescents - Geriatrics

Must be able to work in Telemetry setting.

Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills:
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of dysrhythmias
Telemetry - on the unit monitoring
Telemetry - remote monitoring
Use of Rapid Response Teams

Required Cardiovascular skills:
Post Cardiac Angiogram
Post MI
Pre/Post Cardiac Cath
Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery

Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills:
Blood Product Administration
Central line care/management
PICC line management
Starting IVs

Required Medication skills:
Heparin Protocols
Manage Cardiac drips- no titration
Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration
