Base Pay Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hour on w2
Call Requirement: Approximately 6 call shifts per 6-week period; may vary
Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays

Job Description:

IU Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for its OR Core 6 team. The RN will circulate in a broad range of surgical specialties and may float according to facility needs. Candidates should be well-rounded and clinically current in multiple OR specialties, excluding cardiovascular and transplant surgery.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience.
• Level I trauma experience is mandatory.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active Indiana RN license in hand at submission; pending licenses are not accepted.
• Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred.
• Current experience in at least 3–4 relevant specialties, including:
  • General surgery and plastics.
  • Gynecology, including D&C and laparoscopic procedures.
  • Neurology and neurosurgery.
  • Orthopedics.
  • ENT.
  • Urology/GU.
  • Trauma and robotic surgery.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities.
• Two supervisor references required.
• Candidates must provide 2–3 days of interview availability at submission.
• Flu vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions only.
