CVOR First Assist – Open Heart & Vascular Surgery
Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Shift: Days | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility Type: Community Hospital and Regional Referral Center
Facility Size: 171 beds
Trauma Level: Level II/III (to be confirmed)

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced CVOR First Assist professional to support open-heart and vascular surgical procedures. Candidates must have hands-on experience with open-heart surgery and vein harvesting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR open-heart and vascular surgery experience.
- Experience with vein harvesting is required.
- First Assist qualification required, or eligibility under the facility's grandfathering clause.
- Ability to work effectively with the cardiovascular surgical team.
- Must be comfortable assisting with open-heart and vascular procedures.
Schedule and Call Requirements
- Day shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
- 40 guaranteed hours per week.
- Weekday call required, approximately three days per week.
- Weekend call is rare; may include Friday night through Saturday at 9:00 AM.
- No floating required.
- Weekly orientation.

Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel position.
