CT/Radiology Technologist – Dual Modality (CT + X-Ray)

Location: Providence Free-Standing Emergency Department, Pineville
Shift: Night shift, 7 PM–7 AM
Schedule: 36 hours/week, Thursday and Friday nights, with a 3rd day as needed
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• ARRT Radiologic Technology certification with advanced CT registry
• BLS certification
• First-time travelers accepted if familiar with the CT scanner
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform both CT scans and general X-rays, including portable X-rays
• Assist with patient rooming, vital signs, IV lines, and lab collection when needed
• Provide sitter support for some psychiatric patients when required
• Perform EKGs and chaperone ultrasound exams when needed
• Work primarily with emergency department patients

Facility Details:

• Free-standing emergency department with 12 beds
• No trauma designation
• Approximately 45 ED visits and 30 combined X-ray/CT studies per day
• Equipment includes GE Revolution Evo and Siemens GoTop CT scanners, Shimadzu X-ray equipment, and Bayer/Medrad power injectors
• EMR: Epic
• RIS: Epic Radiant
• PACS: Philips iSite

Schedule & Other Details:

• No call
• Weekend rotation will be discussed during the manager interview
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
• RTO requires manager approval
• Orientation: 1 day of administrative onboarding plus 2 days to 1 week of department orientation as needed
