CT/Radiology Technologist – Dual Modality (CT + X-Ray)

Location: Ballantyne and Providence Free-Standing Emergency Departments, Pineville area
Shift: Day shift, 7 AM–7 PM
Schedule: 36 hours/week — Friday at Ballantyne, Saturday and Sunday at Providence
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• ARRT Radiologic Technology certification with advanced CT registry
• BLS certification
• First-time travelers accepted if familiar with the CT scanner
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans and general X-rays, including portable X-rays
• Assist with patient rooming, vital signs, IV lines, and lab collection as needed
• Perform EKGs and provide sitter support for some psychiatric patients when needed
• Chaperone ultrasound exams when required
• Work primarily with emergency department patients

Facility Details:

• Free-standing emergency departments with 12 beds and no trauma designation
• Approximately 45 ED visits and 30 combined X-ray/CT studies per day
• EMR: Epic
• RIS: Epic Radiant
• PACS: Philips iSite
• Equipment: GE Revolution Evo CT scanner at Providence, Siemens GoTop CT scanner at Ballantyne, Shimadzu X-ray equipment, and Bayer/Medrad power injectors

• No call
• Weekend schedule is set for Friday at Ballantyne and Saturday/Sunday at Providence; confirm any additional rotation requirements
