Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac Cath LabFacility: North Alabama Medical Center Location: Florence, Alabama Department: Cardiac Cath Lab Shift: Day shift, either 6:00 AM–4:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week  Requirements:<ul><li>Required certifications: ACLS and BLS</li><li>Required education/credential: RT, RCIS, or CVT</li><li>Must be able to monitor and scrub during Cath Lab procedures</li><li>Preferred: 5 years of cardiac Cath Lab scrub experience</li><li>Candidates with less than 5 years may be considered if they have high-volume Cath Lab experience</li></ul>Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Scrub and monitor cardiac catheterization procedures</li><li>Support cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures</li><li>Work as part of a 3-person team per case</li><li>Provide patient-focused care for adult and geriatric patients</li></ul>Facility &amp; Equipment:<ul><li>263-bed hospital</li><li>Level III trauma center</li><li>EHR: Meditech</li><li>Equipment: 4 Philips Cath Lab systems and 4 Merge Hemo systems</li><li>Floating: None</li></ul>Call Requirements:<ul><li>Call every 4th day</li><li>Call every 4th weekend, from Friday at 4:30 PM through Monday at 6:00 AM</li></ul>Other Details:<ul><li>Scrub color: Black</li><li>Must maintain professional attire</li></ul>
