Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab / Hybrid / EP Labs

Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
 

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program
• Current ARRT registry
• Active Maryland or DC Radiologic Technologist license, or RCIS/RCES certification
• BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiology or Radiology experience
• Must have completed a travel contract of at least 13 weeks
• Preferred: Vascular Interventional Radiography or Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cardiac and Radiology departments
• Assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional angiographic procedures
• Perform invasive procedures according to established protocols
• Operate specialized equipment and follow hospital and departmental policies

Call Requirements:

• 6 call shifts per month
• 2 weekend call shifts per month
• 2 backup call shifts per month

Other Details:

• Holiday rotation required
• Works across Cath Lab, Hybrid Lab, and Electrophysiology (EP) labs
