Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
- Assess patients' conditions and monitor their progress.
- Administer medications and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient safety.
- Float to similar units as needed, within the nurse's competencies.
Requirements:
- Active New York State RN license.
- Two years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred; candidates with at least one year may be considered for screening.
- BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required before the start date.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Cerner EMR experience preferred.
