Description
Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Start Date: November 23, 2026
End Date: February 21, 2027
Shift: Night Shift, 4x10 hours (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Active New Jersey Pharmacist License.
- 2+ years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Oncology or infusion center experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review patient profiles and medication orders to ensure safe and appropriate therapy.
- Dispense medications accurately and verify prescriptions, IVs, and sterile preparations.
- Prepare sterile IV medications, including antineoplastic agents, following aseptic and hazardous-drug handling protocols.
- Monitor patient therapies, identify medication-related issues, and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Provide drug information and clinical guidance to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with pharmacy policies and safety standards.
- Support quality improvement, cost-saving initiatives, and departmental workflow.
- Assist with training and mentoring pharmacy staff, students, and residents.
