- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience.
- Previous OR Circulator experience required.
- Previous travel experience required.
- Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.
- Must pass the facility telemetry exam on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher.
Preferred Experience
- High-risk obstetrics experience.
Not Accepted
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) experience alone will not be considered in place of RN Labor & Delivery experience.
Required Certifications
- BLS
- NRP
- AWHONN
EMR
- EPIC experience required.
Department Overview
- 9 Labor Rooms
- 2 Operating/Recovery Rooms
- 5 Triage Rooms
- Approximately 3,000 deliveries annually
Testing Requirements
Prophecy Assessment
- Most units require a Prophecy exam after the interview and prior to an official offer.
- Candidates are allowed two attempts to pass.
Telemetry Exam
- Required on Day 1.
- Minimum passing score: 85%.
Time-Off Policy
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to offer acceptance.
- No RTO may be added after a contract confirmation has been signed.
