CT Technologist – Radiology / CT

Shift: Day shift, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts
Contract: 13 weeks
 

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• Previous travel experience required
• ARRT(R) certification
• Active Kansas radiology license
• BLS certification
• Epic experience required
• Experience with both GE and Siemens 64-slice CT scanners
• Experience in adult acute care, ICU, and ER settings
• Must be able to float between departments, units, and facilities
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility

Required CT Skills:

• CT scans of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, sinuses, neck, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine
• Vascular chest studies, including PE, CTA, and aorta
• Carotid studies and brain perfusion
• Trauma head imaging
• 3D reconstruction, MPR, and ROI measurements
• Contrast preparation and administration
• Radiation safety and isolation precautions
• PACS experience

Schedule & Call:

• One night of call per week
• Weekend coverage as needed
• No block scheduling
• Maximum 7 days of RTO; all requests must be submitted upfront
• No additional RTO or schedule requests after submission
• Flu vaccine required; medical or religious exemptions only
• COVID-19 vaccine not required

Facility & Technology:

• Average daily census: 60
• Patient populations include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• EMR: Epic
• PACS: Change PACS
• Equipment: GE and Siemens 64-slice CT scanners
• Orientation: 30 hours listed
• Pre-start modules are non-billable
