The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized computerized tomography (CT) procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The role supports the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injuries and diseases while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized CT imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Operate CT equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Assess patients before procedures, monitor their condition, and provide appropriate care throughout the imaging process.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure patient cooperation and comfort.
• Exercise independent judgment and clinical skills to perform safe and precise imaging procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and follow established radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Assist with orienting and training new department staff, as needed.
• Complete procedures and documentation in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association – AHA)
• California CRT License
• California Venipuncture License
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Shift Details

• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
