Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider, in accordance with Adventist Health policy.
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or ALS certification from the American Red Cross (ARC), as specified in the job requirements.
• Ability to provide safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple patient care needs in an acute care setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous acute care hospital experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience providing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Experience with patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, patient education, and discharge coordination.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
