- Number of Beds – Market support 3 campuses
- Number of Staff – 15 CV type staff
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – Teams of 3 – 2 RN’s and 1 CST Tech
- Night Shift – Teams of 2 – 1 RN and 1 CST Tech
- Patient Ratios – 1:1
- Type of equipment – GE/Stryker
- EMR – Meditech / CPN
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Minimum 6 months current CVOR Tech hospital experience
- BLS, DORA and NBSTA Certifications must be in hand
- Must be proficient in Open Heart experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Prior Meditech experience
- Prior experience traveling as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities
- Cardiovascular experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- CABG, AAA,
- TAVR and Valve replacements
Best personality Fit:
- Flexible, confident and team player
- Patient experience is a priority along with communication to staff and providers
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
- Must float within 25 miles of facility when needed
- Call Requirements: Call requirements will vary based on need and staffing. I would prefer to indicate that call is required and will be discussed at the interview.
- Weekends: NO weekends
