Description
Title: Ultrasound Tech – General (Vascular Experience Required)
Location: San Angelo, TX 76904
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break
Requirements:
- General ultrasound experience with vascular experience required
- Certifications listed: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), BLS
- Texas-appropriate license in hand at submission, as required by the facility
- Travel experience highly preferred, but not required
- Maximum 1 RTO request submitted upfront
- Local candidates within 110 miles not accepted
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required; medical/religious exemptions only
- Availability for rotational call and holiday call required
Description:
- Work in a small, hospital-based outpatient department with an attached minor Emergency Department.
- Perform general ultrasound examinations, including vascular studies.
- Care for patients across multiple age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Perform imaging procedures according to departmental protocols and maintain patient safety.
- Use appropriate imaging equipment and PACS for image management.
- Participate in rotational call coverage and holiday call as scheduled.
- Orientation: 16 hours non-billable.
- No block scheduling.
