Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – South Holland, IL
$58–$70 per Hour | Full-Time | School-Based
Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff!
PediaStaff is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support preschool students in a therapeutic school setting in the South Holland, IL area. This position offers a manageable caseload and the opportunity to work with young learners with diverse communication, developmental, and special education needs.
Position Details
- Location: South Holland, IL area
- Pay Rate: $58–$70 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Hours: 32.5 paid hours per week, 6.5 hours per day
- Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch daily
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: June 1, 2027
- Setting: Therapeutic school, Pre-K
- Caseload: Approximately 20 students across two preschool classrooms
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to preschool students with diverse communication needs.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals.
- Support students with speech, language, social communication, and developmental delays.
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and special education teams.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress.
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate SLP endorsement required.
- Experience working with preschool-aged students preferred.
- Experience in special education or therapeutic school settings preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable supporting students with complex developmental and behavioral needs.
