School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Killeen, TX

$50–$57 per Hour | Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year

Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff!

PediaStaff is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school-based opportunities in the Killeen, Texas area! Support students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs while collaborating with a supportive special education team.

Position Details

Location: Killeen, TX
Local Pay Rate: $50–$57 per hour
Travel Pay: Please inquire for travel rates.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, following the school calendar
Hours: Full-time opportunities
School Year: 2026–2027
Setting: In-person, school-based
Student Population: K–12, depending on assignment
Start Date: ASAP through end of school year, 5/21/2027

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students.
Conduct speech and language evaluations and determine eligibility.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals.
Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams.
Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs.
Maintain accurate therapy documentation and progress reports.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
