Description
Ortho Surg PCU Registered Nurse - Progressive Care
Location: Cape Coral, Florida Unit: 4W Ortho/General Surgical PCU (40-bed unit) Start: December Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- 2 years of PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience
- PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Assignment Details
- Nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1, with possible flex up to 6:1 depending on staffing and acuity
- Floating required. Travelers are first to float and may also float to other sister campuses.
- Travelers are expected to function as core staff.
Application and Submission Requirements
- Radius rule of 50 miles enforced. No locals accepted.
- All RTO must be submitted with the initial submission. Approvals after submission are not granted.
- Demographic information must be loaded at submittal: address, email, full date of birth, full Social Security number, and RN license number. Candidates cannot be confirmed without it.
- Hard document deadline is the Monday before start. No exceptions for pending documents.
