CT Technologist – Day Shift Travel Contract

Job Details

Position: CT Technologist
Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital

Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
Charting System: Epic
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
Travel Experience: Not required
Parking: Free

Shift Schedule

Monday: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
No on-call requirement.
No weekend coverage required.

Responsibilities

Perform CT examinations for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
Conduct CT imaging of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head, with or without contrast.
Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as required.
Perform imaging procedures involving the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, as well as musculoskeletal trauma.
Provide imaging services to patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions.
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
Active ARRT(R) certification.
BLS certification.
Epic experience.
Active state or compact license in hand at submission.
Ability to work the specified Monday-through-Wednesday schedule.

Preferred Experience

Community hospital experience.
Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba imaging equipment.
Experience with adult and pediatric patients, including neonates and infants.
Familiarity with PACS and contrast-enhanced CT procedures.

Responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with. Saket was helpful throughout the process, answered my questions, and assisted me with securing a travel nursing assignment. I appreciated his willingness to help and keep me informed.

Cons

Frequent and persistent phone calls, even during my sleeping hours, despite having already explained my work schedule and availability. As a night-shift nurse, I would appreciate more consideration of my rest hours and better communication through text or email when matters are not urgent.
