Description

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location: Lakewood, CA 90712
Start Date: 11/30/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Choice of Day 3x12-Hour (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) or Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:30
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Patient Ratio: 1:5
Charting System: Cerner
Note: First-time travelers accepted. Local candidates accepted.

Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a hospital setting. The RN will manage a diverse patient population, including medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular conditions.

Requirements:

License: Active California RN License required in hand at submission.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience. Community hospital and LTAC experience required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI (required in hand).
Other requirement: Cerner experience required.

Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses: Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Bariatric, Gastrointestinal, Respiratory, Renal, Neurological, Cardiovascular, Orthopedic, and Post-Surgical conditions.

Shift: Choice of Day 3x12-Hour (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) or Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:30 available
