• Shift: Night shift, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts
• Contract: 12 weeks
• Start Date: Approximately 3–4 weeks after compliance clearance
• EMR: Epic

  • Days/weekends: 1:5–6
  • Nights: 1:6
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes, 3 shifts per week (per listed guarantee).

Job Responsibilities

This is a Med-Surg/Tele float position. Nurses will care for patients across:

• Medical and surgical units
• Oncology
• Neurology
• Cardiology
• Renal units

Common responsibilities include:

• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• IV starts and medication administration.
• Central and peripheral line management.
• Wound care and surgical drains.
• Oxygen administration and HFNC.
• Feeding tube care.
• Rapid response and code team support.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg/Tele experience.
• Previous Epic experience strongly preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• IV start and Telemetry skills required.
• NIHSS preferred.
• Pending license accepted.
• Missouri or Compact license required for MO submissions.
• Illinois license must be active at submission.
• First-time travelers accepted.
