Shift: Day/Evening – 12-hour shifts
Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday, 12:00 PM–12:00 AM, plus every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Guaranteed Hours: 36/48 hours, rotating over 2 weeks
Trauma Level: III
Setting: Acute Care

Required Qualifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ARRT (CT) certification
• Active Texas MRT license
• License required at submission
• Must provide a copy of driver's license at submission to verify legal name
• Candidate's Pulse profile must match the government-issued ID exactly. Do not include a middle name or middle initial.
• Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities within the past year. Candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms may be considered.

Department & Clinical Details

• Department: Radiology – CT
• Experience with ER and inpatient CT studies
• Performs CT scans with and without contrast
• Average daily volume: 16–24 scans
• Must be able to start IVs
• May be asked to precept other staff
• No RRA coverage
• Daytime radiologist coverage; virtual coverage at night, with ER physician support for emergencies

Equipment & Systems

• 3 GE CT scanners:
  • 1 × 16-slice
  • 2 × 64-slice
• EMR: Meditech
• PACS: Fuji
• Facility provides the radiation dosimetry badge number
• Scrubs: Black; not provided by the facility

Schedule, Call & Floating

• Every other weekend required
• Occasional holidays, rotating with permanent staff
• Possible call; discussed during interview
• Call rotation is every 6th week
• 30-minute response time
• Call is backup only; someone is always in-house
• Call schedule depends on the off-week rotation:
  • Monday–Wednesday: 5:00 PM–6:00 AM
  • Thursday: 5:00 PM–6:00 AM
  • Friday: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
  • Sunday: 7:00 AM–6:00 AM
• May float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed (approximately 16 minutes apart)
• Call-outs are strongly discouraged and may lead to termination
