-BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS

Shift Details: NIGHT 12 || Shift Type: First Shift || ST Schedule Notes: 3x12 7a-7p weekend and holiday rotation

This request is posted under the ICU job description while we wait for the new RN Float Pool job description to be added to the system. The ICU description does not fully reflect this role. Please submit candidates against the requirements below. Position: Float Pool RN. Nurses will float between ICU, Telemetry, Med/Surg and PCU, so candidates must be comfortable moving across these units and caring for patients of varying acuity. Experience Minimum 1 year of RN experience, with Telemetry experience required. This replaces “No experience required” in the ICU description. Recent specialty experience is preferred. ICU or critical care experience is a plus.

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
