POSITION TITLE
PACU RN – Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
Care Setting: Acute Care
EMR: Cerner
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- PACU experience required.
- Must have completed at least one travel assignment.
- Must be flexible and dependable, including covering call-outs and switching shifts when needed.
- Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.
- Experience with total hips/knees, general surgery, da Vinci, neuro, and urology cases.
- Pediatric dental cases occur on some Fridays; 1:1 care for pediatric patients.
SCHEDULE
- 8-hour day shifts with varied start times: 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, or occasionally 2:00 PM.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
- BLS – AHA
- ACLS – AHA
- NIHSS
- PALS – AHA
LICENSE
- Active applicable nursing license required.
