An immediate 13-week travel contract opening is available for an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist in Denville, New Jersey (Morris County / Northern New Jersey metro corridor). Operating within an active hospital imaging department, this critical-need position features a dedicated weekend night schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 19:00 PM – 07:30 AM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours guaranteed weekly). SET WEEKEND NIGHT SCHEDULE (OFF MON–THU)! STRONG TRI-STATE TAX-FREE STIPEND ($1,596/WK)! IMMEDIATE / ASAP START AVAILABLE! RAPID REVIEW! The technologist will independently perform diagnostic and emergent CT scans across emergency department, trauma, inpatient, and outpatient populations. • Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,596.00
• Hourly W2 Rate: $29.00/hr (36 regular hours)

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

• Schedule: Weekend Nights, 3x12-Hours (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 19:00 PM – 07:30 AM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). Enjoy Monday through Thursday off every week!
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
• Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (November 16, 2026 – February 14, 2027; ASAP start).
• On-Call Requirements: Standby on-call coverage as needed per department rotation.
• Department Setting: Hospital CT Department (Dept: CT Scan - 76800).
• Clinical Scope & Specialty Procedures:
  • Performance of routine, emergent, and trauma CT examinations across all patient populations.
  • Rapid execution of Code Stroke protocols: non-contrast head CT, CT Angiography (CTA) of the head and neck, and CT Perfusion (CTP).
  • Emergency Level Trauma imaging: high-speed multi-detector pan-scans (head, cervical spine, chest/abdomen/pelvis).
  • Vascular CT studies: pulmonary embolism (PE) protocols, aortic dissection studies, and peripheral runoffs.
  • Power injector operation, dual-head injector programming, IV access verification, and safe contrast administration with screening for renal function/allergies.
  • Multi-planar reformations (MPR), maximum intensity projections (MIP), and 3D post-processing.
  • Adherence to ALARA radiation safety principles and dose modulation protocols.
• Imaging Systems: Multi-slice CT scanners, power injectors, and hospital PACS/EMR.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of dedicated acute care hospital CT Technologist clinical experience (emergency/trauma experience strongly preferred).
• Licensure: Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist (Diagnostic) License strictly in hand at submittal.
• Certifications Required at Submittal (Must be attached):
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in CT: ARRT (CT) certification (ARRT R with verified CT experience accepted per state regulations).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) — American Heart Association (AHA) only.
