• Travel Nursing Opportunity: Approximately 14-week contract.
• Night Shift: Consistent 12-hour night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with various emergency medical conditions.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate changes in clinical status.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity and respond promptly to emergency situations.
• Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed nursing interventions.
• Provide supportive and restorative care to promote patient health and recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate effective patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and facilitate referrals for additional evaluation or specialized care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
• Adapt to departmental needs, including floating to other appropriate units within your qualifications when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Strong nursing assessment and clinical judgment skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
• Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and patient care skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Emergency Department or acute-care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Relevant specialty certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP, as appropriate for the unit.
• Previous travel nursing experience.
