Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week assignment in a busy Level III Trauma Center in Ontario, California.
This is a fast-paced emergency department with a reported daily patient volume of approximately 200–240. Nurses should be comfortable managing a high-acuity patient population, responding to emergencies, and providing timely, quality care in a demanding environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active California RN license required.
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience.
- AHA BLS required.
- ACLS required.
- PALS required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- Previous Level III Trauma experience preferred.
- EPIC experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- 13-week contract.
- 3 available positions.
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
- Three 12-hour shifts per week.
- 36 hours per week.
- Patient ratios: Approximately 1:3 when fully staffed and 1:4 when short-staffed.
- Floating may be required throughout the Emergency Department.
- No on-call requirements.
- Paid orientation begins December 8, 2026.
Compensation
Travel Package
- Regular hourly rate: $32.00
- Overtime rate: $48.00
- Weekly taxable pay: $1,344.00
- Weekly lodging allowance: $1,505.00
- Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,849.00
Local Package
- Regular hourly rate: $67.00
- Overtime rate: $100.50
- Weekly taxable pay: $2,814.00
- No per diem included.
- Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,814.00
Additional Information
- Level III Trauma Center.
- EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Royal blue or navy blue scrubs.
- PPE fully provided.
- On-site parking available.
- Pay cycle: Sunday–Saturday.
