Labor & Delivery RN – Travel Contract
Specialty: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
Shift: Night Shift – 12-hour shifts
Hours: 36 hours/week
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
NBO: 24 hours
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Provide care and support to patients during labor, delivery, and immediately after birth
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and assist with complications during labor
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare disciplines to promote safe delivery
- Provide emotional and physical support to expecting and new mothers
- Educate patients and families on maternal health, newborn care, and bonding
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff
- Use critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion

- Color Vision Mandatory Exam
- Core Mandatory Exam – Nursing
- Core Mandatory Parts I, II, and III
- L&D Skills
- Labor and Delivery RN
- RN – Labor and Delivery Exam
