Job Details:

Location: Riverdale, GA, 30274

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Current and valid state RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• BVP (MAB) training

Preferred Qualifications

• NIHSS or Stroke Certification
• COVID vaccination/boosters

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Deliver patient care within the scope of nursing practice.
• Monitor patients and respond quickly to changes in clinical conditions or treatment responses.
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient conditions, diagnostic results, and symptoms.
• Educate patients and families about their care and treatment.
• Guide and direct other nursing personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow EMTALA regulations.
• Identify and report suspected child or adult abuse to appropriate agencies and hospital social workers.
• Maintain accountability for the care provided to assigned patients.
