RN - LTAC/Telemetry

Location: St. Petersburg, Florida Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36

Role Overview

Holds shift accountability for patient care using the Nursing Process, in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe care delivery.
Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegates patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff, and directs and supervises assigned personnel.

Required Qualifications

Florida RN license or multi-state compact RN license, attached to resume
Long Term Acute Care experience: 1 year, including experience within the last year
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association, attached to submission
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association, attached to submission
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with ventilator management
Experience with tracheostomy management
Knowledge of central lines
