Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical
Location: Terre Haute, Indiana
Facility: Union Hospital
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join the Medical-Surgical team at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses looking to grow professionally while providing high-quality patient care in a supportive hospital environment.
Position Details:
- Full-time, permanent employment
- Day and night shifts available
- 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours)
- Competitive hourly pay: $30–$45+, based on experience and education
- Multiple Medical-Surgical units with openings, including Surgical Oncology
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and document accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and recovery
Qualifications:
- Active Indiana RN license or eligible compact RN license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient care skills
