Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) 48 hours /week

Experienced ER travel nurses who thrive in high-acuity, Level I Trauma environments and are comfortable managing a wide variety of emergency conditions.

Mandatory Requirements

• Active California RN License – REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS, PALS – REQUIRED
• Current CPI Certification – REQUIRED
• TNCC or ATCN – REQUIRED
• NIHSS Certification – REQUIRED
• Minimum 4 years of Emergency Department experience – REQUIRED
• Level I Trauma experience – REQUIRED
• Recent ER experience in an acute care hospital
• Experience caring for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric and geriatric populations

 Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience working in high-volume emergency departments
• Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, prioritize, and manage patients presenting with urgent and life-threatening conditions.
• Provide emergency nursing care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and high-risk medications according to hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to clinical changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams using SBAR communication.
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and emergency response protocols.
