Experience Requirements

• 36 months of RN experience
• At least 1 year of ICU experience
• One previous successful travel assignment preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• BSN preferred

Required Clinical Skills

• ICU patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3
• Ventilator management
• Telemetry strip interpretation
• CRRT
• Advanced hemodynamics
• Phlebotomy
• Administering inhalers and nebulizers outside the ICU

Specialized ICU Experience

• Post-op Day 0 CABG
• Impella and balloon pumps
• Swan-Ganz catheter management
• EVDs and Codman bolts
• Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage
• Arctic Sun / induced hypothermia
• Head and neck flap procedures

Documentation & Equipment

• Charting: Meditech
• Mobile computer workstations
• i-Mobile phones for care team members
• Bedside shift reporting required
