Travel RN – Telemetry / Neurology

Position Overview:

Position: RN – Telemetry
Specialty: Telemetry / Neuro
Assignment: Travel RN
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience
First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Patient Ratio: 1:5

Floating: Required between units

Call: Not required

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Charting System: Epic

Parking: Free

48 Hours: Approved

Clinical Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience required
Neurology experience is not required, but candidates must be comfortable working on a heavy Neurology unit and willing to learn
Comfortable with the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Ability to care for post-surgical Neurology patients
Familiarity with various Neurological diagnoses
Must be comfortable floating between units
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Important Notes:

This is a Telemetry position on a heavy Neurology unit. Candidates without Neurology experience may be considered, but they must have at least 1 year of Telemetry experience and be willing to learn Neurology-specific care.
